Be sure to read the omronconnect privacy policy. I'm pretty sure they sell your health data.

The only way to opt out is to delete your account and not use the app, and the app is the only way to get the info to your phone.

Promoted garbage that slickdeals won't admit is a promotion. I used to sell wholesale to the merchandising manager of this company. They buy crap dirt cheap in wholesale and flip. Their merchandise is really low-quality stuff that's been sitting in shipping containers for awhile.
I'm retired now so I could care less that people know lol

The BMI and visceral fat features are worth it alone. I'd rather get something like this than having to go to a nutritionist every time I want to check myself.

Compare it with Wyze Scale S. I have many wyze products and I will buy this one from wyze if I ever need it. Wyze scale comes with Bluetooth and a nice app to keep your records

I kept it clean, and followed Wyze support recommendations, but decided it wasn't worth the headache.

had a taylor scale that did similar calculations. readings varied from 3 consecutive tries within 5 mins. might as well just use a CDC calculator if you want an approximate that may/may not be as accurate as theses scales disguised as a bmi calculator. https://www.cdc.gov/healthyweight...lator.html

And a whole lot more expensive.
