I don't think it would be a problem at any point? I don't think orgasming is the concern as much as something going inside your vagina that is still healing. As long as you stay on the outside and don't use any toys I think you'd be alright. Personally I can't even wrap my head around sex in any form right now lol so kudos to you.

I googled this the other day. Found a few good articles on it.... the recommendation is to wait the 6 weeks because a contracting uterus (caused by orgasm) can damage the incision/healing process on the uterus. Disappointing - haha. Many recommendations say 4 weeks should be sufficient but best to wait the full 6.

@Lawn1214,
That doesn't make sense because your uterus contracts for weeks after birth as your uterus shrinks. Those don't damage the incision.

thanks ladies! I've been high stressed and have been looking for that sweet release lol. I guess I'll wait another week or so to be safe

You should be OK. If you are breastfeeding, your uterus is already contracting every time you nurse your baby, so I don’t see how orgasm contractions are worse (I actually feel those less!)

I was wondering the same! I definitely will wait for sex as during labor they shoved everything up in there from a catheter, folly, internal monitor, hands, fingers, etc so I don't want to risk damaging anything, however, my boyfriend massaged my feet the other day, and I was really wanting to. I've been holding off on masturbating but sounds like it should be ok!? What's the worse that could happen? Lol
